coding

I've recently rewritten this website in Common Lisp! I've rolled my own (very basic) static site generator. Besides making these pages, I write notes in markdown (for interoperability with Obsidian), and it converts the ones marked for publication into cards for this website.

I haven't migrated everything over — I had quite a complicated /misc page that used a lot of JavaScript to generate, but I'm working on moving that over to Lisp.

reading

I'm reading the Liveship Traders Trilogy. Almost done — it's really good. I might start Game of Thrones next, since I've always been curious.

games

I've been playing all sorts of stuff, but mainly Rimworld. This game has been an absolute nuke for my productivity.

As for retro gaming:

• Pokémon Unbound
• Chrono Trigger
• Racing Gears Advance

I'm not sure why but most retro games I enjoy happen to be GBA games. I've also heard good things about the development scene on GBA, which might be a fun project eventually.

Finished all of my coursework and exams. Now working on my disseration on numerical linear algebra.
